The Game's 3Olympia show on March 24 has been postposed to Wednesday, April 9.

US rapper The Game’s 3Olympia Show in Dublin tonight has been postponed.

The multi-platinum-selling rapper was due to play the 3Olympia as part of his highly anticipated UK and Irish tour, marking the 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking debut album, The Documentary.

The show has been postponed to Wednesday, April 9 after a doctor instructed him not to perform tonight due to an illness.

In a statement on social media, MCD Productions said: “We regret to inform you that tonight’s show is being postponed to April 9th due to The Game being instructed by a doctor not to perform due to illness.

“All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. [if doing, worth mentioning that tickets are valid for the new date BUT refund also available if the new date doesn't suit).”

As The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, celebrates the two-decade milestone of The Documentary, his tour is a tribute to his legacy and the lasting impact the album has had on the rap genre globally.

In addition to Grammy nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for the smash hit Hate It or Love It, he has influenced a generation of artists with his raw lyricism and authenticity.

Beyond his music, he has made his mark as an entrepreneur, and actor who quickly rose to fame under the mentorship of Dr. Dre, becoming one of the key artists signed to Aftermath Entertainment.
